Hello!
We’re sending this out a bit late this month because we’ve been traveling to see friends and hang out with our fellow musicians. It’s something we don’t get to do very often, because we’re usually focused on our own music. We spent the weekend of November 4th in the Philadelphia area to see our friend Meghan Cary’s CD release shows, and were honored to be able to join her on stage for a couple of songs each night. And we just got back from the Northeast Regional Folk Alliance conference, a business conference for folk musicians. While I know that sounds very dry and boring, it was anything but! Four days of reconnecting with old friends, meeting new friends, singing with people, and generally learning from one another. We returned home mentally and spiritually recharged (though massively sleep deprived!). Now it’s time for us to get back to our own music.
On Tuesday, November 21st at 8pm, we will again bring you the opportunity to see us live while staying in the comfort of your own home. Take a break from chopping vegetables for your Thanksgiving stuffing, pour yourself a mug of hot chocolate, curl up on the couch with your dog and a blanket, and tune in to Concert Window! We’ll bring you an hour of live music, from our living room to yours. Once Thanksgiving is over, and you’ve survived Black Friday, take a break from the early holiday craziness and stop by the Farm Cafe at the Toadstool Bookstore in Keene, NH on Saturday, November 25th. We’ll play all original songs from 3-5pm. You can listen while shopping for gift books for your bookworm cousin, or while you tuck into a plate of buffalo cauliflower at the cafe. Don’t forget to browse their amazing desserts!
If you’re in the New York City area this weekend, join us at Meghan Cary’s CD release show in the heart of Greenwich Village at the Bitter End Saturday, November 18th at 7pm! Meghan’s new CD, Sing Louder, is absolutely delightful. She and her band will have you completely energized by the end of the show!

September was a whirlwind of multi-gig weekends and gatherings with friends. It was a lot of fun! But it was also a lot to fit into one month. Everyone’s life needs balance, and our lives are no exception. So October is a bit quieter for us!
We start out the month on Saturday, October 7th in Frederick, MD on the Shab Row stage (corner of East Church and North East Street) from 1-2:30pm. Frederick is a hopping little town that likes hosting lots of interesting activities on the first Saturday of every month. We’re happy to bring our music into the mix.
Can’t make it out to see us live because we’re not playing in your area? Through the magic of the internet, we can play for you in your own living room. On Tuesday, October 17th at 8pm, we’ll be doing our next online concert via Concert Window. We hold a concert wherever we are that day — at home, out on the road, wherever. We broadcast it over the internet. You put on your sweats, kick back in your living room, curl up with the cat, and watch us live online. Just go to http://www.concertwindow.com/danandfaith at 8pm. We’ll be there. Tune in and see where we’re playing from this month! Even we aren’t quite sure where we’ll be.
The Serendipity Songwriters Session at Serendipity Cafe in Maynard, MA continues this month on Wednesday, October 11th with guest host Beth DeSombre and guest artists Peg Espinola and Tom Smith. Their songwriting topic this month, chosen by the September audience, is “Flood”. Enjoy a meal, eat yummy baked goods, and listen to amazing original music by three of the best songwriters in all of New England. Plus, you get to choose the topic for November’s songwriters! Music runs 7:30-9:30pm.
