There is a path, out of the darkness
There is a path, into the light
There is a path, out of the darkness
To find it, you must write

At times we’ve all lost our way
Dreamed and hoped for brighter days
But that light you long to find
You must unleash with your own mind

When feeling down and far away
Seems the blues are here to stay
Grab your journal and begin
And pour those feelings out through your pen

And write a poem, write a song
Write a story, short or long
Make it fiction; make it real
Your very soul, it will reveal

Gentle breezes, lasting friends
On this journey’s curves and bends
Dream of the stars, so far away
And find some peace, in every day
