On March 8th, we’ll be the featured performers at the PCA Open Mike in Westford, MA. The Parish Center for the Arts, an old church saved by the town folk and turned into a performance space, is a grand old room with great acoustics.

The first place we played as a duo was at this open mike. Over time, Dan took over the sound board making it easier for host John Ferullo to set up performers and keep the flow of the evenings going. We were thrilled when John first asked us to feature, and we’re delighted to be back there again on March 8th.

Since March 8th, 2009, we’ve performed in every state in New England and several places in New York State (Cooperstown, Hudson, and New York City) and even made a guest appearance in New Brunswick, Canada. Next month will see us on the road to southern New Jersey as we continue to expand the touring circle. We’ve released three CDs in that time, and have another in the works. Our catalog of original songs has grown quite large too.

Come out to the PCA on Sunday, March 8th and we’ll share some of the new songs, some of our older ones and maybe a surprise or two along the way.

We are attending the Northeast Regional Folk Alliance conference. This is a four day gathering of musicians, presenters, venues, DJs and others involved in the making and presenting of folk music in its many forms.

The conference is in an old resort hotel in the Catskills. There are a variety of showcase performance opportunities. Much of the fun takes place in hotel rooms converted into mini concert spaces, mostly well after midnight.
